ShopVac Vacuum Cleaners

Shop vacuums are primarily used by businesses, but they are becoming increasingly popular with consumers as well, especially for garages, sheds, barns, and other workspaces.  These machines are designed to pick up much more than the standard vacuum cleaner and many of them come with wet or dry options.  These models have two separate tanks, and the hose and nozzle can be switched between tanks to pick up either debris (such as wood chips, etc.) or liquid (such as water spills).  There are still some items that should not be picked up by a shop vacuum, but there are many more options than with a standard vacuum cleaner that is only designed for home use.  Shop vacuums are even stronger than the commercial vacuums that are offered for sale by various companies and because of this they are generally purchased by businesses.  However, the lower prices that many of them sell at today are allowing many more consumers to make purchases of shop vacuums, and they are taking advantage of this.  As more people do work in their garages and/or obtain hobbies that require them to be aware of what they are doing for cleanup, it appears likely that the number of shop vacuums that are sold will only continue to increase in the United States and in other countries where these kinds of vacuums are sold.

The Shop-Vac brand is the most popular one on the market today, as it is the original wet/dry vacuum cleaner and has been around for some time.  In addition to remaining on the market for some time, the Shop-Vac Company keeps coming out with new and innovative products.  One of their newest products is a ‘Vac ‘n Vac’ that contains a large vacuum and a smaller vacuum that is housed within it.  The smaller vacuum powers the larger one while the larger one is being used.  When the smaller one is removed it can be used independently for smaller cleaning jobs where a large vacuum would either be inconvenient or not fit.  This looks at though it will be a very popular seller although right now it is too new to be certain of this.  Given the convenience, though, and the idea that the Shop-Vac brand is very popular and well-known, it would be very surprising if the new Vac ‘n Vac did not sell well.  When Shop-Vac brought out new items in the past they have all done very well with consumers because they know and trust the Shop-Vac name for their vacuuming needs.

Shop vacuums, whether they are the Shop-Vac brand or another brand, are used for the clean up of items and areas that would otherwise not be easily cleaned because they are too difficult to get to or because what needs to be cleaned up cannot be handled by a traditional vacuum cleaner.  A shop vacuum can pick up large wood shavings, concrete chips, nails and screws, and countless other garage or shop items as well as liquid that is spilled either on a hard surface or on a carpet.  Not all consumers will be in need of a shop vacuum, of course, but for those consumers that find that they need a shop vacuum for whatever purpose, the prices of these vacuums are much less than they used to be in the past.  Shop vacuums are available at almost all major retailers and can be purchased for as little as $35.00, all the way up to well over $100 for models that have more attachments, larger tanks, and/or more power.
